Cost:  $20 - 4 class pass

Description:  Zumba fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. The goal is simple: We want you to want to work out, to love working out, and to get hooked.   Zumba Fanatics achieve long term benefits while experiencing an absolute blast in one exhilarating hour of caloric-burning, body-energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage and captivate for life!

Saturday Morning Yoga

Yoga - Saturdays 9:15 - 10:15 AM (ages 13 - ADULT)

Location:  J. Paul Ford Recreation Center, 37 E Woodrow Ave, Belmont, NC 28012

Cost:  $10 per class

Description:  Yoga is a science that has been practiced for thousands of years. It is consists of Ancient Theories, observations and principles about the mind and body connection which is now being proven by modern medicine. Substantial research has been conducted to look at the Health Benefits of Yoga - from the Yoga Postures (Asanas), Yoga Breathing (Pranayama), and Meditation. The information on Yoga Poses & Benefits are grouped into three categories-physiological, psychological, biochemical effects.

Dates:  This is an on-going class that meets every Saturday morning year round - drop in anytime!


Boot Camps

Boot Camps Year-round -(ages 13 - ADULT)

Location:  Stowe Park in Historic Downtown Belmont

Cost:  Group price is $400 for 10 x 1 hour Bootcamps.

Description:  Boot camp programs burn fat with aerobic exercise while building lean muscle mass through calisthenics. Using your own body weight as resistance, this back-to-basics fitness regimen can be done anywhere and requires virtually no equipment!  Boot camp training is for ALL FITNESS LEVELS!

Class Descriptions

Kinder Tennis - Ages 4-7 is a "unique" program designed to introduce 4 - 7 year old children to the game of tennis in a fun and rewarding way. By tailoring the equipment and the size of the playing court to the size, needs and the athletic ability of young children Kinder Tennis allows them to learn the sport quickly, have fun and to succeed immediately. The emphasis is on fun, fitness and skill development. Kinder Tennis helps create a proper foundation on which children may continue to build and develop their interest in the sport. 

Rising Stars Tennis Clinic - Ages 7 - 11:   This Beginner's clinic covers the fundamentals to get your child started on the path to learning the sport of Tennis. Forehands, backhands, serve, volley and more will be taught. Fun games, drills & Instruction are designed to teach basic hand-eye coordination & footwork.

Future Aces Tennis Clinic - Ages 12 & up:  Never picked up a Tennis Racquet?  No problem! This Beginner's clinic is designed to teach the proper grips and stroke techniques (forehand, backhand, serve, & volley). Juniors in this class will also learn the rules of Tennis, tennis etiquette, & how to keep score.

Junior World Class Clinic ages 12 up:  Designed for the developing Junior player ages 12 - up who is interested in competing in tournaments and/or on the high school level. The clinic emphasizes strategy, stroke production & match play.  Footwork, court movement & conditioning will also be stressed to prepare players for matches & tournaments.

Adult tennis: Are you new to the game or just looking to improve your Tennis skills? This clinic works on the mechanics, techniques & fundamentals of the game. Instruction in proper grips, forehand, backhand, serve, volley, positioning of body, game rules/play & scoring will be covered.
